The Poetry of Sara Jane’s Alley - The October Kimono

The Kimono

The October Kimono

A Haiku Poem (with a new poem started)

We are born to light.

In our youth we also shine.

Our kimono beams.

Older now, we burn.

Passion becomes red heat.

Our kimono storms.

Our season then ends.

We drop like a graying leaf.

Our kimono dims.

And we start again….
