If you collect tea sets - YOU MUST CHECK OUT THIS AMAZING TEA SET! This stunning and unique ART DECO TEA SET BY LAWRENCE B SMITH 1940S IN SILVER PLATE is the ultimate cool tea set. The Lawrence B. Smith Company was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1887, and remained in operation through 1958.
This lovely set is in the Art Deco style,and has an octagonal shaped with straight spout and squared ebony handle. The flat octagonal shaped lids have nice, tight hinges and small dome shape in center top with rectangular shaped finials. Set includes three pieces: teapot, coffee pot, hot water pot. This set reflects refined elegance and character. Stamped by maker. Pieces are monogrammed. See images.
The pieces are in wonderful vintage condition with minor wear on the 8” tall one. Needs a bit more polish but shines up nicely (see all photos). What a wonderful addition and elegant statement this would make for any room.
